About Us
Saving Shibas Inc. is a 501(c)3 rescue group, consisting of volunteers and specializing in the Shiba Inu breed. Our dogs are rescued from shelters, neglect, abandonment and homes in distress.
Our History
We became incorporated on December 13, 2010 and are happy to announce that we obtained non-profit status as of February 14, 2011 (Valentine's Day)! Now what could be more fitting for a breed that we absolutely adore?
Our Volunteers
Our volunteers are familiar with this breed; many of us are servants to our own Shibas. Our volunteers do not receive any compensation, and most have full time jobs and assist with Shiba rescue on the weekends.
